Master Cleanse Day "Zero" and Day 1

Day "Zero": This is my "ease-in" day. While I've heard you can do up to 3 days of it, I decided to skip to the last day (The first two involve cutting out red meat/dairy, and then eating nothing but raw vegetables). The third day of the ease-in involved drinking copious amount of "Organic Orange Juice" throughout the day. The idea being that the OJ will provide you with large amounts of vitamins, minerals and fiber, while still being a liquid.

I couldn't find organic OJ at my local store, so I got Florida's Natural Brand 100% Not From Concentrate Orange Juice. The taste was decent (I'm not a huge OJ fan, but I can stomach it), and throughout the day, I drank about 48 oz. of it, plus a lot of water. I felt some slight hunger during the day, but nothing serious or debilitating by any means. I also had a slight weakness in my limbs in the evening, but I think this may be been somewhat psychosomatic. I fell asleep without taking the laxative tea, but I don't think this will negatively affect the entire experiment. For the record, I'm using Smooth Move Senna Tea .

Day 1: The first official day of the fast. I woke up and mixed the salt water flush. This was just mixing 2 teaspoons of salt in a quart of warm water and chugging the whole thing. I've heard of people making a salt "shot" then just chasing it with water to help it all go down since salt water isn't all that palatable. I did this and it worked pretty well, but I did make a mistake in that I forgot to use a fine grained sea salt and used kosher salt which is a lot bigger in size and dissolve as readily making the mixture a bit saltier than it could have been. I had to fight the urge to vomit for a little while as salt water isn't something that is readily accepted by the body.

-here's the beginning of some... explicit talk. be forwarned-

15 minutes after drinking the salt water, I had the sudden urge to facilitate the lavatory. Basically, the salt water flush makes you shoot salt water out like a fire hose. Not necessarily unpleasant since it's just water (with not much solid waste), but not exactly enjoyable. I had to do this twice more 15 and 30 minutes later. Other than that, I felt fine.

I made up a batch of the lemonade the night before and mistakenly only made a half-batch for the day (you need 2 quarts for each day according to the "rules"). This ended up not being that big of a deal because for some reason I actually felt quite full all day and didn't even end up finishing the half batch. I'm a little confused because it wasn't as if I just wasn't hungry; I actually felt full the entire day. Other than that, I went about my day without any complications. I had some slightly queasiness throughout the day, but nothing crazy.

I drank the senna tea at night in a few big gulps. It doesn't taste all that bad (as I've read it does from a few others who have done the cleanse), but there are only a few types of tea I truly like, so I never expected to love the stuff.

Side note: I saw "I Love You, Man" with the gf - hilariousness.
